World’s Largest Queue For Swimwear?

A large number of brave individuals lined up in the freezing cold outside the Virgin Holidays store in Kensington High Street in an attempt to break the world record for the world’s largest swimwear queue. The young men and women taking part were given the incentive of being allowed to pre-register for the holiday company’s famous January sale. Prices for holidays around the world start as low as $517, so it’s not hard to understand why some people went to such lengths to bag a bargain. Virgin Holiday’s West London store, which officially opens in January, is the company’s first permanent high street location not within a department store or supermarket.” w/ photos

Britain’s Longest Serving Santa?

A Shropshire grandfather could be Britain’s longest serving Father Christmas after handing out gifts for nearly half a century. Ray Hulse, 67, from Bridgnorth, has been playing Santa Claus since he was just 18-years-old – meaning he’s been spreading festive joy for 49 years. He created his first grotto at a simple Ford garage – with people coming from far and wide to offer Santa their Christmas wish list. “I started out there,” said Mr Hulse. “Then I did one in a scout hut and it just grew from there. At first, I had to borrow a costume. It soon took off and became so popular that I had my own costume made. “But it’s got better and better since then. I’d raise money for the Church of England’s waifs and strays, then I started to do it for other charities. “I wouldn’t like to guess how much I’ve raised down the years, but I imagine it must be around $64,000.” w/ photo

Massive Toilet Papering Prank

“We used 504 rolls of toilet paper! It took 1 hour to make the mess. 8 hours to clean up the mess… that’s with 5 of us total. We had two cop cars come and try and stop us, one while filming, and the other while we were trying to clean up.” — devinsupertramp

Buyers as far afield as Europe and Israel have bought his abstract colorful paintings.
