“I’m not really sure what it’s supposed to be, or what its general purpose is, but what it does is pretty strange. It generally looks like a face, and has parts that move and click as the coils get tightened up. The video below basically shows what it does, but the entire process seems pointless and merely for the sake of amusement, if people are ever that amused by something so odd. Don’t get me wrong, it looks really cool. It’s designed with parts taken from a clock, a voltage meter, a cigar box, sewing machine parts, watches, candle holders, a chain and sprocket, and motors. The entire thing looks really strange, and again it doesn’t really make all that much sense, but I think that’s part of it.” w/ photos + video
