Printer Paper Mustang

Jonathan Brand sold his Ford Mustang to buy an engagement ring – so he printed off a life-size model of the classic American muscle car using sheets of paper from a large format printer, painstakingly gluing together everything from the wheels to the dashboard to the engine. Amazingly, he didn’t use the original car blueprints for the assembly – instead, he created the model based on his memories and pictures of old Ford Mustangs. Brand creates a 3D model on his PC, then prints off ‘jigsaw pieces’ to create the 3D parts, gluing sheets together to create everything from tyres to dashboard components. The sheets were printed on a large-format paper printer, then glued together. Nothing else was used in the construction.” w/ photos

World’s Largest Bus

Forty-three feet longer than a standard city bus, China’s Youngman JNP6250G is 82-feet long bus and as agile as a sports car cruising down the highway, taking tight turns without smashing up traffic. To alleviate the multimillion populations of Beijing and Hangzhou, China’s sending out the world’s largest bus to go out and serve the needs of its citizens. What kind of special features does the world’s largest bus have? Only like 40 passenger seats (which means the remaining space can fit up to 260 standing riders) and five doors.” w/ photos

Pool Table Car

One of the most unique advertising vehicles on the planet, the Pool Table Car comes with a removable top as well as a detachable rear end which allows users to enjoy a real game of pool anywhere anytime. Fitted with custom 22” and 24” rims and tires, the Pool Table car has a built in pool table leveling system to ensure optimum conditions for a fair game… The fully-drivable vehicle also has a high-end custom sound system installed in it though we do hope the modders would add a nice overhead pool table light to the vehicle soon to make the experience more life-like to users.” w/ photos + video

Aliens Vs. Predator Chess Set

“This chess set was created by DeviantArtist Joker-laugh. While he doesn’t say much about how he made the actual chess pieces, the board measures 25 × 25 inches, so it’s quite big for a chess set. He used wood, small tiles, and stone for the board. He tried to make it match the pyramid temple in the AvP film… It will allow you to pit your own Aliens versus Predators and see who will come out on top.” w/ photos

Ninja Vs. Knight

“Ninjas are fast, silent and sneaky. Knights are slow, loud and don’t use tactics. Ninjas were croppers and farmers who fought the samurai for freedom. Knights used to be peasants who one day fought for their rulers.” — epiclegohalofan

Vintage Ice Cream Trucks

“The original idea of the ice cream truck was relatively simple, that the delicious tasty treats of the ice cream parlor are coming directly to you. We still see them during the summer months at public events, parks, beaches anywhere where crowds of people are likely to gather, as well as driving down residential streets hoping to entice customers. These examples here at Dark Roasted Blend may not be the cream of the crop, but they’re certainly some pretty cool pictures.” w/ photos

Schoolboy Builds Electric Car

Featuring an electric engine and fiberglass exterior, Alexander’s car isn’t the most beautiful to look at, nor the fastest on the road, but it does keep money in your pocket. With a maximum capacity of 5 horsepower and a top speed of 35 km/h, it sounds like a joke compare to modern-day automobiles, but it only sets you back $0.11 for every 100 kilometers, in terms of fuel, and can be recharged from a regular electrical outlet. And let’s not forget we’re talking about the invention of an 11th grader.” w/ photos
