“Although I did enjoy the burger with the doughnut bun I couldn’t help but wish that I could have instead used my favorite doughnut of all time, the long john. How would this be possible though? A burger is round, (or square at certain places such as Wendy’s or White Castle) and the long john is rectangular shaped. Should I cut the ends off the long john and make it into a square? Would forming a burger patty into a rectangle be a better alternative? After racking my brain it suddenly came to me. What’s the one fast food sandwich that would fit perfectly inside a long john doughnut bun? The Burger King Original Chicken Sandwich of course!… I knew there had to be some kind of way to improve upon it, and I feel like I’ve done just that with my latest concoction.” w/ photos

“The lasagna pizza at Balistreri’s features seasoned beef, mushrooms, lasagna noodles and four different cheeses. Before ordering I was a little worried that all the noodles and meat might make the pizza taste a little dry, but that wasn’t the case at all. It actually tasted pretty much like you’d expect a cross between lasagna and pizza to taste. In other words, it was delicious!” w/ photos
