84 Egg Sandwich

“We combine the powers of 84 eggs, 10 lbs of bacon, endless amounts of sausage, cheese and some liquor! This is how we do breakfast, player!” — EpicMealTime

The CheeseEggBurger

“I’ve always thought that there aren’t enough egg-cooked-in-hole dishes. With the Grilled Cheese Eggsplosion — that’s a grilled cheese sandwich made from two slices of bread with holes cut out and an egg fried in the center of each one — I doubled my personal repertoire. Today, we add yet another to the list, and it’s a pretty awesome one. Ladies and gentlemen, burger lovers of all shapes and sizes, I present to you The Cheeseburger Eggsplosion.” w/ photos

The $1,000 Pizza

We weren’t surprised to hear about a $1,000 pizza. All it took was an upscale pizza joint — Nino’s Bellissima Pizza — six containers of caviar, a hardworking publicist, and lo, the four-figure, nine-inch pie was born. One has apparently already been sold, to celebrity ex-cop Bo Dietl. (We await the creation of a truffle doughnut explicitly for him.)… Made of crème fraîche, six kinds of caviar (including a sac-load of intense black Russian Royal Sevruga, the same kind used in Norma’s omelette), and shaved slices of fresh lobster, the sample sowed confusion in our proletarian ranks. Why, this isn’t pizza at all, most seemed to be thinking. Dense, a little fishy, and undoubtedly tasty, the slices, everyone finally agreed (once the suggestion had been made), tasted something like a bagel with lox and cream cheese.” w/ photos

World’s Largest Ice Cream Cake

“Yesterday, Canadian company Dairy Queen has set a new world record by making the world’s largest ice-cream cake in Yonge and Dundas Square, Toronto. It took 100 people over a year to plan the event, but after 30 years and 52 million ice-cream cakes sold, this was the perfect way to celebrate, according to Denise Hutton, vice-president of marketing at Dairy Queen Canada. Dozens of chefs worked around the clock using over 20,000lbs of ice-cream, 200lbs of sponge cake, around 300lbs of icing and Oreo crumbles, to beat the former world record, a nearly 17,636lbs ice-cream cake made by China, in 2006.” w/ photos

The Bacon Horse

This is a life size horse head constructed with a wood/wire armature and then covered with close to 200 dollars worth of bacon/prosciutto. I started by creating a wood armature that I wrapped in wire to create the horse form. The next step was covering the armature with plaster bandaging which helped create a porous surface to pin the bacon to. Once your armature is complete and to your liking the process of applying the bacon can begin!” w/ photos

Pancake N’ Waffle Breakfast Sliders

“I absolutely love breakfast, but the fact that I’m not a very good cook usually means that unless I go out to eat I end up making myself one of three things; scrambled eggs, French toast or oatmeal. I’ve gotten sick of eating the same few things for breakfast almost every day though so I recently came up with a new breakfast concoction; mini pancake and mini waffle breakfast sliders!” w/ photos

Macaroni N’ Cheeseburger

“I was all set to make some macaroni and cheese and a burger for dinner one night recently when I thought to myself “why not just combine the two and stuff the macaroni and cheese inside the burger?… Check out the results here.” w/ photos
