“A Japanese fashion designer has entered the Guinness Book of Records for growing the world’s tallest mohawk. Kazuhiro Watanabe’s gravity defying hairdo measures an impressive 3ft 8in and has taken over 15 years to grow. It takes the 40-year-old two hours to sculpt his spiked black mohawk using one tube of gel and three cans of hairspray. ‘I really wanted to be in the Guinness World Record book,’ explained Mr Watanabe, who has held the title since October 2011.” w/ photos
