“Thailand has taken its reputation for massages to the next level by achieving a Guinness World Record for the largest mass massage. A record breaking 641 therapists massaged volunteers simultaneously for 12 minutes at an exhibition hall in Bangkok to pick up the honor. Organized by the Ministry of Public Health, the event was designed to promote the nation’s massage and spa industry which it is famed for. Chayanan Chanwuttisawan, one of the masseuses who took part in the event, said: ‘It was easy because this is what we do every day for a living.” w/ photos
