“A frustrated Limpopo farmer has turned to the courts in an attempt to get illegal squatters off his property. Rapport reported that illegal squatters had been living on the farm for eight years and that their self-proclaimed leader had even built a swanky double storey face brick house on the farm. Roelof Joubert said the first squatters came to his farm Dresden near Burgersfort in 2003. There was no agricultural development on the farm due to the lack of water, but Joubert rented out property to businesses.” w/ photos
