“One of the sweetest Guinness World Records has been surpassed after a confectionery company in the US created the world’s largest lollipop. The massive 7,000-pound chocolate lolly, made by Sees Candies, has been on display at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco, with passers-by amazed by the size of the treat. ‘We are so pleased to have created a larger than life version of our favorite candy-on-a-stick,’ said the company’s CEO Brad Kinstler. ‘This accomplishment is a testament to our extraordinary production team, who spent many hours designing and constructing the world’s largest lollipop. ‘We can’t wait to showcase this record breaking lollipop on National Lollipop Day to our customers in San Francisco.” w/ photos
