“It’s enough to stop any unsuspecting driver in their tracks. Suspended above a road in Wuppertal, Germany, a bridge that looks like it’s made entirely of Lego bricks. There’s an innocent explanation to the brightly-colored structure, of course – it’s the handiwork of street artist called Megx, Germany’s answer to Banksy. Megx – whose real name is Martin Heuwold, 35 – sought out permission to transform the disused railway bridge. The bridge forms part of the line that once connected Düsseldorf and Dortmund.
