“Around 100 brides gathered in Belgrade, Serbia on Saturday as part of an annual race to win a free dream wedding. Wearing their wedding gowns and running shoes, the women raced over 150 meters in a bid to gain the grand prize, with the victor Sanja Cigoj completing the sprint in just 19 seconds. Some of the runners increased their chances of placing by wearing short dresses while others fully embraced the challenge and donned full length gowns. The two runners up also won the dresses which they competed in, which will hopefully be teamed with more suitable shoes on their big days.” w/ photos
