
“Labelled the ‘most expensive pizza in the world’, takeaway fans wanting to purchase the extravagant oven-baked treat will have to dig deep into their pockets. Customers can choose between two of the most expensive caviars in the world to go on their pizza, which is topped off with thinly sliced lobster and creme fraiche. The pizza was created by New York restaurant owner Nino Selimaj, who has sold hundreds of his creations to customers at Bellissima in Manhattan. He sadi: ‘I’ve been in the city for 33 years and I serve caviar in all my restaurants. ‘I wanted something different for my pizza restaurant. I didn’t want just a traditional marinara or margherita. I wanted something specific and unique and so I came up with the $1,000 pizza, and it’s worth every penny.” w/ photos
