“I made strawberry shortcake… with a donut. A sweet and soft glazed donut. I was a little worried this would be too sweet (really, is there such a thing?) but it wasn’t. That glazed donut was the ultimate vessel for the sweet and fresh strawberries and light, fluffy freshly whipped cream. Mr. just picked it up with his hands and ate it like a sandwich.
