“I’ve designed my own LED Eyeshadow and I like it! The future of makeup is here. Or maybe just the future of party accessories. Either way, lights are a real ‘turn-on’ and I love everything that lights up. I don’t really like makeup because I suck at it. But lights are pretty, so I wanted to high-light my eyes electronically. This was a major design (and) creative challenge for me. I’ll probably wear this Electronic Eyeshadow out to the club and in YouTube lip sync videos for fun. I plan on designing a whole array of light up makeup. What’s next?… Luminous Lipstick!” — HarmlessBrat

“This unlucky woman had a bus ride she’ll never forget after getting her neck trapped in the closing doors. The unfortunate passenger was taking a trip in the town of Maanshan, in China’s Anhui Province, when the impatient driver closed the doors while her head was still poking out. Luckily her fellow passengers noticed her plight and shouted at the him to stop and open the doors, which he eventually did.” w/ photos

T-Rex Made Using 1,400 Balloons

“Try competing with this balloon artist and you would definitely be wasting your breath. Mark Verge has been perfecting the art form for more than 16 years and has created a 39ft life-size replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex out of 1,400 balloons. It was just one of the sculptures made by the model-maker along with a triceratops, spinosaurus, stegasaurus and utahraptor for his show in Ontario, Canada. Mr Verge, 43, who is originally from Nova Scotia, first started making balloon animals in 1995 after coming across a book about the hobby. Since then he has developed his own techniques and uses a variety of different-sized balloons to build the delicate creations. It was his collection of fossils that first gave him the idea to make model dinosaurs. His sculpture of the T Rex won Mr Verge first prize in the world balloon-sculpting competition.” w/ photos

The Cyclops Shark

“The cyclops shark was an unborn pup that was removed from a large female bull shark, Carcharhinus leucas, captured off of Mexico in the Sea of Cortez. Even though the photo of the cyclops shark is totally real and confirmed by scientists who have seen the shark pup, there’s a natural tendency to dismiss the photo as an excellent photoshopping job. But it isn’t.” w/ photos
